• Officer Routing: Forwarding reported civic issues (such as pothole repairs or pipeline leaks) directly to the designated Nodal Administrative Officer or representative responsible for your area.
• Real-Time Updates: Dispatching push notifications, SMS alerts, or emails when an issue you raised or supported changes status (e.g., from Pending to In Progress or Resolved).
• Analytics & Prioritization: Producing anonymized community metrics to highlight high-priority regional concerns, helping representatives focus on critical public needs.

3. Democratic Transparency & Public Visibility

Because PrajaLink is built on public accountability, the visibility of civic issues is structured as follows:

• Public Concern Wall: Reported issues, development suggestions, comments, and upvotes are publicly visible to all citizens within your constituency to foster collaborative community oversight.
• Anonymous Reporting Option: If you spot a sensitive community issue (e.g., public safety concerns), you can choose to hide your name on the public feed. The issue will remain visible to the community and officials, but your identity will remain hidden.
• Leader Profile Engagement: Details shared regarding leader portfolios, election performances, and initiative updates are public records.

4. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard technical measures to secure your credentials and civic data:

• Encryption: All data is securely transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption protocols.
• Access Management: Nodal administrative actions, politician portfolios, and voter registrations are isolated using a strict 5-tier role-based access control (RBAC) mechanism.
• Retention Schedule: We retain account details for as long as your profile remains active. You can request the deletion of your account at any time, which permanently removes your private profile records.
